Privacy & Cookie Notice
Last updated June 23, 2026
This notice explains what information CushionPay stores in your browser, why we store it, and the choices you have.
1. Cookies we use
CushionPay uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you securely signed in. These are essential to provide the service you request when you log in; without them, we cannot maintain your session.
- Authentication / session cookies (
sb-<project>-auth-token) — set by our authentication provider, Supabase. They store your encrypted session so you stay logged in across pages, and are removed when you sign out.
Because these cookies are essential to a service you actively request (signing in), they do not require prior consent under GDPR / ePrivacy rules. We disclose them here for transparency.
2. Analytics and local preferences
We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymous usage of the site. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.
We also store a couple of interface preferences in your browser's local storage (for example, whether the admin or employer sidebar is collapsed). These stay on your device, are not sent to us, and are not used to identify you.
3. Your choices
You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking the essential session cookies will prevent you from staying logged in. You can also sign out at any time, which removes your session cookies and revokes your session.
